Yes. Every customer gets a dedicated, secure subdomain such as docs.yourcompany.com with isolated data, your own users, departments and roles. Files are stored outside the public web root and served only through permission checks.

Access is the union of two routes — the document’s department and explicit per-document grants — then filtered by the permissions of the user’s role (Super Admin, Department Admin, Contributor, Viewer, Auditor). Users never see documents they are not entitled to.

Yes. PDFs, images and text/CSV open directly in the browser, and Word/Excel/PowerPoint files are converted to PDF for on-screen viewing. Restricted documents can be watermarked with the viewer’s name and time.

Every meaningful action — login, view, download, email, upload, edit, grant and delete — is logged in an immutable audit trail. Outbound document emails carry a forced compliance BCC, and a recycle bin protects against accidental deletion.
