Symptoms you may be seeing
- Buyers say the website takes too long to open on site.Heavy pages that stall on mobile data.
The moment it matters
A site engineer at a half-built warehouse searches for a supplier of the gutters he is short of. He has two bars of signal.
What the buyer sees
A white screen, then a spinning wheel, then a full-screen video that has not finished loading. The phone number is three scrolls down. The menu opens over the content and will not close.
What it costs you
Buyers do not wait long for a page they have no reason to trust yet. Every second spent loading is a second in which the next result is one tap away.
Google measures how fast and stable pages are for real visitors, and uses it as one of many ranking signals.
Check your own website in two minutes
- Turn off wifi and open your home page on your phone, on mobile data. Time how long until you can read and tap.
- Run your address through PageSpeed Insights (pagespeed.web.dev) and look at the mobile result.
- Check whether the phone number and a way to ask for a quote are visible without scrolling.
What good looks like
- Pages that open quickly on mobile data, with images sized for a phone.
- No autoplaying video on the home page.
- A bar at the foot of every phone screen with Call, WhatsApp and Get a quote.
- Text readable without zooming, and buttons large enough for a thumb.
How this gets put right
This problem rarely comes alone. It usually shares a cause with others on this list: a website written once, years ago, without the facts the plant and the sales team hold. Patching one page at a time seldom changes what a buyer concludes.
The AI Search Visibility Blueprint shows how far your own site has this and every related problem, how Google and the AI assistants read it today, and what to correct in what order. A Website Transformation rebuilds the site from your own documents so the whole set is put right together, and measures what moves each month.
