Symptoms you may be seeing
- Nobody can say how many enquiries the website brought last month.Enquiries go to an inbox and are never counted by product or source.
The moment it matters
At the monthly sales review, someone asks whether the website brings any business. Nobody in the room can answer with a number.
What the buyer sees
The form sends an email to info@, which three people read and assume someone else has answered. Calls from the website and taps on the WhatsApp button are not recorded anywhere.
What it costs you
An enquiry that is never answered does not appear in any report, so nobody knows the order was lost.
Without a count by product and source, money and effort go where they always have, not where buyers are asking.
And you cannot tell whether any work on the website is paying for itself.

Check your own website in two minutes
- Send a test enquiry through your site now. Time the reply.
- Ask: where is that enquiry recorded, apart from someone's inbox?
- Try to say how many enquiries the website brought last month, and for which products.
- Ask whoever manages your analytics whether calls and WhatsApp taps from the site are counted.
What good looks like
- Every enquiry saved in a database with the product, the page it came from and the source, and emailed to a named person.
- A simple screen where the sales head can see and export enquiries.
- Calls, WhatsApp taps and form enquiries counted in the visitor report.
- A monthly count by product, city and source, so sales effort follows what buyers ask for.
How this gets put right
This problem rarely comes alone. It usually shares a cause with others on this list: a website written once, years ago, without the facts the plant and the sales team hold. Patching one page at a time seldom changes what a buyer concludes.
The AI Search Visibility Blueprint shows how far your own site has this and every related problem, how Google and the AI assistants read it today, and what to correct in what order. A Website Transformation rebuilds the site from your own documents so the whole set is put right together, and measures what moves each month.
